How to become a Microsoft Security Ninja

/

For everyone working with the latest Microsoft Security technologies, it can be hard to keep up with all the latest news and where to find good training within each area, especially if you want to dive into a specific subject.

Microsoft and the Community are generally doing a great job keeping the Docs updated within each technology, but a great place to start if you want to know more and deep dive into the specific security-related subjects. I can highly recommend the Ninja pages.

Microsoft has over the years, expanded a series of so-called Ninjas pages. These pages all center on a specific subject, such as “Become a <insert product> Ninja”.

Other Security Relevant training resources:

Another area that is also of interest, to those of us working within these security subjects, is the Kusto Query Language (KQL) because it is heavily used within most of these technologies.

Must Learn KQL

A great place to start getting into the KQL, I can recommend the Must Learn KQL series from Rod Trent:

And the upcoming Addicted to KQL series, which Rod Trent has planned for 2022:

Of course, these are just some of the great learning resources available for the Microsoft Security-related products, but it is a great place to start – in my opinion.

/Enjoy the training 🙂
