I often get asked about Lync or Skype for Business End User Training Material from my clients, who are in the process of deploying Skype for Business (Lync) or are piloting.
Just recently Microsoft has updated and released some End User Training Material for Skype for Business. It is now available in multiple languages.
Here is a list of good End User training resources for Skype for Business:
- Office 365 Training: Run more effective meetings (Skype for Business) (40 languages)
- Skype for Business client awareness and readiness resources (English)
- Rollout and Adoption Success Kit (RASK) Resources (English)
- .Discover Skype for Business
- Skype for Business client on Lync Server resources: Awareness and readiness planning
- Skype for Business client on Lync Online: Awareness and readiness planning
See Also the following small Training videos for the End User:
- Skype for Business: Make amazing happen
- Skype for Business: What’s new in the client
- Skype for Business: Step-by-step guide for new users
- Skype for Business: A quick introduction
Microsoft had similar End User Training resources available for Lync, although not in multiple languages as for Skype for Business, not listed in this post though.
If you know of other Skype for Business (Lync) training resources, that I missed – please let me know.
At work, we are a help desk for associates on the floor. Is there a way we can make a pdf form and put a button to submit the form input fields in a lync message or is there a way I can save a template for the associates so all they have to do is click on the icon on the desktop and it pops open the chat box so all they have to do is fill in the info?
You will need to look at some client deployment options.
